Me, during week 2 of lockdown:

| Like Paul, diligently writing letters to connect with the brethren |
Me now:

| Like this newest part of our church family :) |
This isolation is getting long... very long... and many of us find that phase 3 is sometimes even harder, as it adds elements of decision fatigue, teaching kids to wear masks, seeing our loved ones gather when we are not comfortable doing so, etc. If you can relate to the images above, you are not alone! Let's renew our zeal in supporting our brothers and sisters through this lonely time.
"Let us not be weary in well doing..." Gal. 6:9
Blessings,
The SPT

You sure find some cute kids for the pix on this blog! ;)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, though, if we can keep the pen in hand long enough we experience the blessing Paul expressed with, "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you." That's something we've appreciated during this time when we haven't seen each other in person very often.
Anika was getting ready to write a thank you note to all of you when she had a milk-induced nap attack. :)
ReplyDeleteOur sincere thanks to all of you for your love, support, notes, meals, generous gifts, and most of all your prayers during this time. We have felt a great outpouring of God's love through all of you, and we are thankful that Anika gets to be part of such a wonderful welcoming church family.
